Forgiveness is freeing. I'll be the first to admit that true forgiveness can be hard. Especially when the thing that was done to you was unbelievably hurtful. But has any one ever noticed how unforgiveness can rot away the joy in life? It seems to be accompanied by anger, bitterness, sadness and a host of other emotions. Now you've got the hurt of that situation and all the associated symptoms lingering inside of you. Let me tell you, all that extra weight can be burdensome.
